Reese’s Popped Snack Mix Review

The Snack No One Wanted

Reese’s Popped Snack Mix is that new snack you never wanted but they gave you anyways. I saw these when I was at 711 and immediately thought “Wow, how dumb!”. I mean I am glad they are out there, trying new things, innovating 🔬🧪 in the junk food world. I guess this kind of falls under the stoner junk food category, kind if like Munchies but with added gas station candy.

My whole life I have always thought, “Man I really wish someone would mix chocolate drizzled caramel corn with some peanuts that are covered in Reese’s peanut butter. And ya know what, throw some Reese’s cups in there too, small ones! And something really dry and salty, something I will want to avoid, yeah pretzels! Thats the ticket!” My friends I can tell you that Reese’s read my mind, as you can see it here, in all its glory. Bone apple tea. 🍽

Spoiler Alert: It’s Mostly Popcorn

So the first thing I notice when I open the bag is that this is 85% caramel corn. The second thing I notice is that there are only like 3 of those weird peanuts covered in Reese’s with a candy shell things. Which is too bad because those are easily the best part of this concoction. So the flavor combination of these 4 things mixed together is… fine? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I mean it is no mystery that chocolate and peanut butter are good together, and most people like chocolate covered pretzels. But I must remind you this is mostly the popcorn, which is kind of a neutral mix. It’s not bad, but it’s also not great.

I’ve Got a Blank Page for These Things

Can’t say I will be grabbing a bag of these again. You know who loves these though? Taylor Swift. I even heard a rumor that her new song “Delicate” is actually about a time she was driving around the city trying to find a bag of these. I’m gonna believe it.
